Saturday a Milestone was Reached!

I have served as an online missionary for Global Media Outreach since February of 2012. Over those intervening years I have worked many hours each day responding to seekers who have contacted one of the websites sponsored by GMO.

This past Saturday, I received my 15,000th reply from a disciple and was pleased and happy to have had such an opportunity. I was glad the 15000th reply was from a devoted student of God’s word who lives in South Africa.

As you might expect, those numbers continue to climb and as of this morning I have a new total of 5678 people helped and 15013 replies received.

It has been a joy to get to know Christian brothers and sisters all around the world and share in their hopes and dreams. It has been a particular joy to work with those whose hunger and thirst for God’s word has compelled them to come back, time after time, to study, learn, and apply God’s commands to their lives.

I had wondered how I would spend my retirement years and had absolutely no plans when I retired; there was no need to feel any concern as the Lord already had something planned for me that greatly exceeded my expectations.

In addition to my work with Global Media Outreach, the Lord has enabled me to publish 450 essays on “Life from a Christian Perspective” since June of 2011. Needless to say, boredom has never been a problem in my retirement; I’m deeply grateful to the Lord for his loving grace that has permitted all this!

Let me encourage you to consider sharing in this effort of reaching the world for Jesus Christ; believe me, the opportunity to help people all over the world while you sit in your own home is a rich blessing especially at this time of personal isolation.
