Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, let us rejoice in the love God has shown to us by sending the Second Person of the Holy Trinity to take on human form and be born of a virgin.
God alone, in his perfection, could provide the sacrifice for our sins by his physical death on the cross so that all who simply believe in him as Savior can receive full redemption from all sin and join him in Heaven!
Having risen from the dead and ascended back into heaven, our Savior, Jesus Christ, sealed our salvation by his own blood and permitted us to join him as members of God’s eternal family!
Therefore, rejoice and be glad, you are now a new creation!
“17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:17-21
Receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and you will be Saved!
