The False Doctrine “Jesus was a great teacher, but he was not God.”

With this false doctrine we arrive at a foundational Satanic deception that has been deployed with some success over the centuries; 28% say that “Jesus was a great teacher, but he was not God.”

This is not even logical; in John 10: 25-33 it is written:

25 Jesus replied, “I have already told you, and you don’t believe me. The proof is the work I do in my Father’s name. 26 But you don’t believe me because you are not my sheep. 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, 29 for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. 30 The Father and I are one.”

31 Once again the people picked up stones to kill him. 32 Jesus said, “At my Father’s direction I have done many good works. For which one are you going to stone me?”

33 They replied, “We’re stoning you not for any good work, but for blasphemy! You, a mere man, claim to be God.”

It appears to me this is a clear claim by Jesus to be God! If Jesus is not God then he must be delusional; a delusional teacher who lies is certainly not a great teacher!

There are only two options regarding Jesus, he is either God or he is delusional; a great teacher is not an available option!

The description of Jesus given in Colossians 1:15-20 is a delight to all who love Jesus Christ as Savior and God:

Christ Is Supreme

15 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.
He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,
16 for through him God created everything
in the heavenly realms and on earth.
He made the things we can see
and the things we can’t see—
such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world.
Everything was created through him and for him.
17 He existed before anything else,
and he holds all creation together.
18 Christ is also the head of the church,
    which is his body.
He is the beginning,
supreme over all who rise from the dead.
So he is first in everything.
19 For God in all his fullness
was pleased to live in Christ,
20 and through him God reconciled
    everything to himself.
He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth
by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.

This is the Jesus who is the Creator/God of the Bible and has the only name under heaven whereby we must be saved!
