The United States is a Country Riddled with Divisions of All Sorts!

In all my 93 years, I have never seen this nation more deeply divided than it is today! During the Second World War, I remember unity of purpose being a strong factor in making every citizen see this country and it’s mission as a shared responsibility in which we could all have a part!

Every thing changed because of the “war effort”. From children to adults, there was something we could all contribute to the “war effort”. It was a memorable time!

A Vocal Minority

Today, electronics has made it possible for a vocal minority to get a lot of attention. The media devotes too much time to the ranting of the radical elements of our society. This can give the impression they are of greater significance than they really are.

The vast majority of Americans love and support our country but patriotism does not capture the attention of TV producers. Radical ranting and chaos grow audience share while totally failing to covey the true love and loyalty of most Americans!

This vocal minority appears to hate the United States and seems determined to destroy the institutions upon which it has been established! They seem to prefer one or more political systems which have abysmally failed as historic records show!

Why would they think they could succeed when every previous attempt was a total failure? Their conviction suggests there are some powerful influences involved. I’m convinced their conviction is fueled by Satanic deception.

Satanic Deception

We are living in the closing days of the Church Age which shall end with the removal of all born again Christians and the restraining ministry of the Holy Spirit. From this point on to the Second Advent of the Lord Jesus Christ the world situation will grow increasingly bad!

Satan knows his days are numbered and is seeking to promote chaos and deception on an ever increasing scale. All those who have not been born again are under the control of their sin natures and very susceptible to Satanic deception! We are seeing this all over the world specifically including the United States!

None of the divisions featured in the media today are of any eternal significance; there is only one that divides humanity in a meaningful way and that is the matter of the new birth!

You Must Be Born Again!

All humanity is divided into two groups, those spiritually dead, by virtue of their birth into Adam’s family, versus those spiritually alive by virtue of being born again into the family of God. Only this division has temporal and eternal ramifications!

Spiritual life is created by receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and being born again into the family of God by the power of God, the Holy Spirit!

Satan will do all he can to bury that reality under a landslide of superficial divisions! The media is playing right into his hands by featuring these divisions as news.

It is the responsibility of Christians to focus on the only issue that truly matters:
