Where is the USA in Bible Prophecy?

What is Really Going to Happen to the United States?

The fact of the matter is God only knows what he has planned for this country; it appears to be rather devastating as there is no mention of this country in Bible prophecy. There are many solid Biblical reasons for God to judge the USA; our social and moral conditions continue to slide down the slippery slope of sin and deliberate disobedience to God’s commands!

The Bible warns the reader of the death and destruction which will take the lives of uncounted millions of people all over the world as God pours out his judgment during the last seven years before the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Lord warns his disciple in Matthew 24:21-22:

21 For there will be greater anguish than at any time since the world began. And it will never be so great again. 22 In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, not a single person will survive. But it will be shortened for the sake of God’s chosen ones.”

A Brief Summary of “Things to Come!”

I’m of the opinion the following sequence of events is supported by the Bible:

  1. The removal of all born-again believers at the Rapture, the second stage of the first resurrection, causes massive disruptions and chaos in the United States
  2. This disruption and chaos will be seen as an opportunity for an Islamic attack on both the “Great Satan”, the United States, and the “Little Satan”, Israel. While God has promised protection for Israel, the United States has no such promise.
  3. I believe the weapon of choice may be an “Electro Magnetic Pulse” explosion over the United States which would destroy all electric circuits and throw the USA back into the 1800’s technologically speaking.
  4. Israel will look for another protector and sign a covenant agreement with the Antichrist; this will trigger the beginning of the last seven years promised to Israel by God.
  5. The following seven years will start rather calmly but after 3 and 1/2 years the Antichrist will turn on Israel and declare himself to be God; at this point, the Great Tribulation will begin and there will be horrific judgments from God that pour down on a largely defiant humanity.
  6. At the end of the seven years, vast armies will gather for the final battle of Armageddon just North of Jerusalem; this battle will be brought to a close by the triumphant return of the Lord Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords.
  7. The Lord Jesus Christ is victorious and restores the world to environmental perfection for the beginning of his Millennial Reign for 1,000 years which includes the third and final stage of the first resurrection of the Old Testament saints.
  8. The Millennial reign ends with the rebellion of millions of people against the Lord and his reign and are totally destroyed by fire from heaven!
  9. The second resurrection of those who have rejected salvation in Jesus Christ, is followed by the Great White Throne judgment.
  10. All creation is refined by fire and restored to a New Heaven and a New Earth where the Lord Jesus Christ will reign forever!

While this is a high flyover, it gives a general picture of what I believe will be happening next; I hasten to add I have no idea when all this might take place, but it could be soon!

The Door to Salvation and Deliverance from Judgment is Still Open!

If you’ve managed to read this far, I extend to you my thanks and encourage you to make sure you are a part of the winning side! Joining the winning side is very easy at this point, thanks to the great sacrifice made by the Lord Jesus Christ when he died for the sins of the world on the cross at Calvary.

With all my heart, I urge you to receive Jesus Christ as your very own Savior by believing in him and the sacrifice he made for you.

Becoming a Christian is simply believing in Jesus as your Savior. We are told in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

You can have everlasting life by asking Jesus to come into your heart; just pray to him like this:

Lord, I want you to be my Savior, I believe you died for my sins and I accept the payment you

made for me on the cross. Thank you for coming into my life. Amen.

If you can pray that prayer and mean it then, congratulations, you’ve just joined God’s eternal family.

Let’s hope that the judgement happens after the Rapture!

The judgment comes during the last seven years of the Age of Israel and the church age will be over and the church in heaven. God keeps Israel and the church as two separate entities and does not mix them. I suggest you read the series, “Seventy Weeks of Daniel.”

I understand what you are referring to, and I also believe in the Rapture. However, I do believe that the destruction of a nation is an act of judgment. And, I don’t believe that destruction of a nation only means total obliteration. It could be a destruction of the dollar, for instance, that leads to the fall of American. I don’t think that the Rapture has to happen before countries face a judgment because, well, look at what’s going on around the globe. I hope that the Rapture happens before God’s judgment falls seriously over our country, but I also know that Rapture can happen at any moment. Before or after. Rapture doesn’t save us from war or other devastation. which, in my view, are judgments on a land.

We are living on a spiritual battlefield fighting a spiritual war that has been in progress for thousands of years. As Christians, we are soldiers in the army of the Lord. War and destruction can take many forms and we see those all over the world. I have lived through the Great Depression, World War 2, am a veteran of the Korean War, lived through the Cold War, the Vietnam War, and have heard of more wars and destruction than I can easily remember. Only God knows how bad it will get before he removes the Church at the Rapture. Under Satan, the world is not a happy place. What I believe the Bible makes clear, is the Tribulation begins when Israel signs the covenant agreement with the Antichrist; at that point the church will already be removed from the earth. I agree that the world situation can indeed get very bad before that happens.
